UCAS is the UK central organisation through which applications are processed for entry to higher education. (Most courses are part of this system, although some Art and Design courses still ask students to apply to them directly).
We ensure that the students are guided through the process. We look at why students should progress onto Higher Education, the process of applying and finally help them to decide which institution offers them the best opportunities for their future.
This process begins in the Spring term of Year 12 and is completed by the Spring term of Year 13. During this time students have presentations from specialist speakers who are able to give them detailed and up to date information and advice. We also hold a Higher Education evening in April for parents and students where more advice and support is given.
